Narendra Modi controls the Judicial Branch

source: chapter Jayalalitha in Marina of book It took a village to kill Jayalalitha
The book is available in print and kindle at Amazon India.

Long long ago, Solomon became the King of Israel. The citizens of Israel used to come to King Solomon when they needed help. One day two women came to King Solomon court with a baby boy. The women said they lived in the same house. They each had a baby, but one of the babies died. Now both women wanted the baby that was alive. Each mother said he was her baby. They wanted King Solomon to tell them who could keep the baby.

Solomon wanted to find out which woman was the baby’s mother. King Solomon had a wise plan. The King ordered his guard to cut the baby in half with a sword. The King would give half of the baby to each woman. King Solomon would not really let the baby be cut in half. But the King wanted to see what the women would do. King Solomon knew the baby’s mother would not let her son be hurt.

One mother told the King not to cut the baby in half. She did not want the baby to be hurt. She loved the baby. She said the other woman could have him. The other woman told Solomon to cut the baby in half.

Then King Solomon knew who should keep the baby. The real mother did not want the baby to be hurt. King Solomon gave the baby to her.

The was the King Solomon story.

Kannahi, King Pandya and Kovalan is another story.

So, in those days, the King used to be the Judge. The King used to have wise persons in his court; those wise persons used to discuss the policies and made recommendations to the King.

The fact is, the King or the Queen used to be the Head of all three branches of the government.

The King or the Queen used to control the Legislative, Executive and the Judicial branches.

In 1215, eight hundred years ago, citizens of England took away the Judicial power from the King. The citizens forced the King John of England to sign the Magna Carta Libertatum, a written document. Since then, the King and the Queen lost their Judicial Authority.

In 1788, two hundred thirty years ago, citizens of United States made a clear separation between the Legislative and the Executive branch.

Now, in 2018, we went back to one thousand years. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now taking the citizens of India backwards; back to one thousand years.

If you refer to the history, the citizens of India are very much  living like their great grand ancestors, who lived way back in 1018; one thousand years back.

Long Live King Narendra Modi!

Our King Narendra Modi controls the Executive Branch.
Our King Narendra Modi controls the Legislative Branch.
Our King Narendra Modi controls the Judicial Branch.

Narendra Modi is not only the Prime Minister of India;
but also the Executive President of India;
also the Speaker of the Parliament;
and the Chief Justice of India.

In high profile cases, Narendra Modi directly gets deeply involved.
Narendra Modi prepares the judgment and hands it over to the judges.
The Judges just read Narendra Modi judgment in the court of law.

Above all, Narendra Modi fixes the judgment date.
Narendra Modi fixes the date and time to deliver the judgment.

It is obvious, in 2014, Narendra Modi asked the Special Court Judge to change the date from September 20 to September 27 and Narendra Modi made a personal visit to Bangalore on September 23.

Similarly, on June 7, 2016 the Supreme Court was ready with the final verdict. As per the Judicial Branch, both Jayalalitha and Sasikala had to go back to jail in June 8, 2016.

But Narendra Modi delayed the judgment delivery; eliminated Jayalalitha; and delivered it on Feburary, 2017, just to prevent Sasikala from becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

As per Narendra Modi's suggestion, had Sasikala maintained a low-profile for two years, the judgment would have been different.

Had Sasikala listened to the advice of Narendra Modi, Sasikala would not have been in Bangalore jail. Sasikala could have a peaceful family life in Kodanadu.

From the book, It took a village to kill Jayalalitha

“I worked with many politicians at state and national level. But I have never seen such a cold-hearted politician like Narendra Modi.”

“We are discussing seriously, what are you doing with your phone? I am going to throw that phone away.”

“I am looking at the timeline of the case.”

“On May 26, 2014 Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India.”

“Within two months, Narendra Modi had initiated action against Jayalalitha.”

“Narendra Modi visited Bangalore on September 23, 2014 and gave instructions to the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah about the arrest of Jayalalitha.”

Here is the timeline:

August 28, 2014: Special Court reserves judgment for September 20 and directs all the four accused, including Jayalalitha, to appear before it on that date.

September 16, 2014: Special Court defers by a week to September 27 the pronouncement of its verdict.

On the evening of Tuesday September 23, 2014 the Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at HAL airport, Bengaluru. He was received by the Governor of Karnataka Shri Vajubhai Vala, Karnataka Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah, Union Ministers Shri Ananth Kumar, Shri Sadananda Gowda, senior BJP leader Shri BS Yeddyurappa among others.

September 27, 2014: Special Court convicts Jayalalitha and three others including aide Sasikala. Awards four years’ prison term to Jayalalitha, slaps Rupees 100 crore fine.

May 11, 2015: Karnataka High Court acquits Jayalalitha and three others.

June 23, 2015: Karnataka Government moves Supreme Court against Jayalalitha’s acquittal in DA case.

Feb 23, 2016: Supreme Court commences final hearing on the appeals against Jayalalitha’s acquittal.

June 7, 2016: Supreme Court reserves verdict on appeals in DA case against Jayalalitha.

“On September 23, 2014 the Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bengaluru and prepared the groundwork for Jayalalitha’s arrest on September 27, 2014.”

“I studied in the United States of America. There they have clear separation of power. Executive Branch cannot influence the Judicial Power. Is it same in India?”

“Obviously not. Here in Tamil Nadu, our family did influence many judicial cases.”

“In fact, on many occasions, we prepared the judgment and the judges just delivered them.”

“Is it same with Narendra Modi?”

“If we were in Delhi, we will certainly influence the Supreme Court.”

“Do you think, Narendra Modi influences the Supreme Court and the judges deliver Narendra Modi order as the judgment?”

“In India, there is no clear separation of power.”

“On June 7, 2016 the Supreme Court was ready with the verdict. Why didn’t they deliver it till now?”

“It was our mistake. We could have placed the verdict as a precondition.”

“We are in a situation like the silk dress on a thorn fence. If we act in hurry, we will rip the silk dress off. We need to maintain our calmness and act with patience.”

“Everybody has a past. The asset case is the past for Jayalalitha. Ayodhya is the past for Advani. Likewise, Narendra Modi also has a past.”

“2002 Gujarat riots.”
